Wedding and Civil Partnership Ceremonies

These are NOT legally binding.  You must complete the legal paperwork at a registry office first.  This is generally done on the day, or a few weeks, or months before the ceremony.  You dont have to exchange rings, or do anything other than repeat the registrars words and sign the certificate.

Your wedding  or civil partnership ceremony is about how you met, what you love most about each other and how you knew this is 'the one'.

You might want to include quirky details about your other half to surprise your guests.

You can make vows and promises to each other which you can write yourself,  or I can write them for you.

We can include traditional rituals like hand fasting,  lighting a unity candle  or ' jumping the broom'. There are all sorts of lovely things you can do to reflect your love for each other. Readings, poetry and music - nothing is off limits. If you're stuck for ideas, I have plenty!

Together we can create a ceremony that has real meaning for you both.

If you're a bit uneasy about touchy feely mushy stuff we can keep it nice and simple. The main thing is that you get the ceremony YOU want. We can make it inclusive and involve your guests so everyone feels part of your big day.

Civil Partnerships are now an option for heterosexual couples, which is great news and something celebrants have welcomed.
